Nearform appoints Corey Eastman as Managing Director for the Americas
He joins Nearform to lead our journey to become the most trusted partner for ambitious enterprises in the Americas

Corey is a global executive with many years of experience working for award-winning strategy, design and technology firms. He joins Nearform from Thoughtworks, which he helped scale to a $1B firm and IPOd on the NASDAQ in September 2021. He’s also worked for IBM, Rypple (acquired by Salesforce.com), Teehan+Lax (acquired by Facebook) and Huge (NYSE: IPG), among others.
As Managing Director for the Americas, Corey will ensure Nearform’s high-end expertise in engineering, design, and data continues to bring outstanding outcomes and enduring impact for ambitious enterprises. He’ll grow our existing client relationships and build new ones.
Corey is leading Nearform into the next step of our growth
Corey has extensive expertise in building start-ups, and scaling mid-market and enterprise businesses through market expansion and technology-led transformation across the US, Canada and Europe.
He brings experience leading global cross-functional teams, across multi-year strategic technology programs, in helping clients achieve strategic business outcomes. He has worked with C-level industry leaders and boards of directors with ambitious missions, building enduring impact by implementing progressive and modern software and product engineering.
Along with his commercial work, Corey has spent time giving back to the Open Source community. He’s done so by creating partnerships and speaking at events such as BackstageCon, as well as helping to advocate for improved developer effectiveness across the technology community.
Corey’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to deepen our relationships with clients and partners, and develop new business in the region. This makes him the perfect person to drive the next step of our growth.
Nearform works with leading global enterprises in the Americas
In 2014 we began working with Condé Nast, which led us to projects on Vogue, Golf Digest, The New Yorker and more. Our presence in the Americas has continued to grow. Since 2021, when we secured investment from Columbia Capital, we've worked with over 50 organisations in the Americas. These range from major pharmaceutical companies to state departments, with Charles River Laboratories, TELUS Digital, Starbucks, Walmart and Viral Nation among our many partners. Notably, Nearform designed, developed, and launched the COVID-19 apps for rapid use, in states including New York and New Jersey
In October 2023, Nearform acquired Formidable, a global software engineering and design consulting firm. This broadened our presence in the North American market, especially in the areas of retail-ecommerce and composable solutions, whilst expanding our technical expertise in design and engineering.
